His New Name
We've seen from Jesus's teachings that John the Baptist was the return of Elijah, and that the term "return" doesn't mean the return of the same body, but the return of the same spirit.

Thus, it is reasonable to expect that when Christ returns, He will come as a person with Christ-like qualities, but with a different name. Indeed, the Book of Revelation makes this clear by prophesising "I will write upon him the name of my God ... and I will write upon him my new name." (Rev. 3:12)

There are several references in the Old and New Testaments to qualities, titles and names by which the Promised One might be known. One reference that occurs repeatedly is to the quality of "glory."

"For the Son of man shall come in the Glory of his Father."
(Matthew 16:27)

"Lift up your heads, O ye gates
Even lift them up, ye everlasting doors;
and the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory."

(Psalms 24:9-10)

"And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together ..." (Isaiah 40: 5)

and again, from the vision of Ezekiel: "And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the east ..." (Ezekiel 43:2)

According to Jesus's own description of the term "return", His return is likely to be similar to His first coming. We've seen that according to the research of many Christian scholars, the likely time for this return was the middle of the 19th century. We've seen that He is the fulfillment of the prophecies of other religions as well, and that He will gather together the "many folds" of His followers. And we've seen that He will come with "a new name."

With these thoughts in our minds and hearts, we joyously wish to share with you the...
"good news of a great joy which
will come to all the people."
